Two Temples, One Journey: Kedarnath & Badrinath
Two Temples, One Journey
For those with limited time, or for a more focused spiritual journey, the Do Dham Yatra offers a powerful and profound experience. This sacred pilgrimage takes you to the two most revered temples in the Char Dham circuit: Kedarnath, the abode of Lord Shiva, and Badrinath, the abode of Lord Vishnu. Trek through stunning Himalayan landscapes and connect with the divine in these ancient and hallowed sites.
Day 1: Haridwar to Guptkashi
Your pilgrimage begins in Haridwar. We will drive to Guptkashi, a town with deep mythological significance. Enjoy the scenic journey along the Mandakini river. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and rest. In the evening, you may visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple.
Day 2: Guptkashi to Kedarnath
After an early breakfast, we’ll drive to Sonprayag. From there, you’ll begin the challenging but rewarding 16km trek to Kedarnath. The trek is alongside the majestic Mandakini River, offering breathtaking views. Upon reaching Kedarnath, check in to your accommodation and in the evening, witness the divine aarti at the Kedarnath temple.
Day 3: Kedarnath to Guptkashi
Wake up early to participate in the morning darshan at the Kedarnath temple. After breakfast, begin your trek back down to Sonprayag. From Sonprayag, you will be driven back to your hotel in Guptkashi.
Day 4: Guptkashi to Badrinath
Today’s journey is a long but beautiful drive to the last dham, Badrinath. You will pass through the holy town of Joshimath. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. In the evening, take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund (hot spring) and visit the magnificent Badrinath temple for darshan.
Day 5: Badrinath & Mana Village
In the morning, you can have a final darshan at the Badrinath temple. Afterwards, we will explore the nearby Mana Village, known as the last inhabited village on the Indo-Tibetan border. Here you can visit Vyas Gufa and Bhim Pul. Later, we’ll drive to Rudraprayag for our overnight stay.
Day 6: Rudraprayag to Haridwar
After breakfast, we begin our final drive back to Haridwar. The tour concludes upon arrival in Haridwar, leaving you with a lifetime of spiritual memories.
